Labyrinth’s Wraith – The Curse of the Minotaur

Deep beneath the opulent halls of Knossos, in a maze so vast that even the gods turned their eyes away, a beast prowled the darkness. The Minotaur—Asterion, son of Crete’s shame—was neither man nor bull, but a wretched soul cursed by fate and the will of King Minos. Born from divine punishment, he was hidden away, condemned to stalk the twisting corridors of the Labyrinth, his only solace the echo of his own ragged breath.

For years, Athenian tributes—seven sons, seven daughters—were cast into the maze, their cries swallowed by the stone as they fled through endless, winding passages, their doom inevitable. No one escaped. No one survived. Until Theseus came, armed with his unbreakable resolve and the golden thread of Ariadne. When his blade struck, the beast fell, but its spirit never left.

It is said that the Labyrinth still stands, buried beneath time and ruin, and within its depths, the Wraith of the Minotaur lingers—a specter of fury and sorrow, forever hunting, forever lost. Those who dare to walk the forgotten tunnels may hear the scrape of hooves on stone, a breath too close behind them, and the distant, inhuman bellow of a creature that refuses to die.
